BUILDING SOLID LIVES
"Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock."
The world can be an unstable place but our lives do not have to be. At The Rock, our mission is to build our lives solid by following 3 steps: Coming to Jesus, Hearing His sayings and Doing them. Join us as we venture forward in this life together and help one another BUILD SOLID LIVES.
After serving 14 years at Auburn Faith Center, a Foursquare church in Northern California, Pastors Daniel and Julia joined the staff at The Rock in Anaheim in 2005. They have since served in a variety of roles including Operation Solid Lives, Kids’ Ministry, Facilities, Rock Christian Academy, and Video Production.
In the Fall of 2012 they were sent to launch The Rock, Battle Creek in Michigan. Just a short four years later in early 2016 they, together with Pastor Jerry and the executive team, appointed Pastor Zach Schneider to the lead pastor role of the campus they started in Battle Creek, MI. They now serve as the lead pastors at The Rock Kalamazoo, Michigan.
They have been married 20 years and have four children. The family has adapted very well to Michigan together with their new huskies, Dan-O and Eevvee.

Pastor Janeve grew up Buddhist but thanks to the ministry of The Rock, she was profoundly impacted by the love of God and gave her life to Jesus in 2007. Pastor Scott has known Jesus his whole life and has a deep love for Him that continually is shown through his teachings (many know him as the weeping pastor). Together, they have traveled the world and even lived in China for a year to bring the gospel to Chinese students.
They have served in almost every area of ministry and most recently, became campus pastors at The Rock Kalamazoo KTOWN. Their heart is to see their community impacted through individuals, the body of Christ coming together in community.
Scott and Janeve have been married for 5 years and have a little boy, Jayce (2) and a little girl on the way!

The Rock I See is a church that only God could build. A church where God gets to do what He wants to do.
The Rock I See is a church where people are constantly being saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, delivered from bondages, healed and renewed with joy.
The Rock I See is large—very large—so large that it cannot be explained any other way than as "a powerful move of God."
The Rock I See experiences explosive growth that ignores cultural, economic, and generational boundaries. Despite the size, the love of God and spirit of unity fosters an environment where all can experience meaningful relationships.
The Rock I See is a people who walk in the power of the Spirit in their everyday lives with humility, love, and submission to authority.
Thousands of kids and youth are becoming a "David Generation," being anointed and raised up by many Samuel-like adults to defeat the giants of our land.
The Rock I See has thousands of partners who regularly gather and serve tens of thousands of people with life-changing discipleship.
The Rock I See takes the gospel of Jesus Christ into its surrounding communities, the marketplace, and around the world through church campuses, Operation: Solid Lives, Operation: Generation, Rock Groups, missionaries, worship music, and multimedia.
The Rock I See has supernatural influence with governments and leaders.
The Rock I See is a people of prayer—fervent believing prayer—prayer that gets results that money cannot buy.
The Rock I See is full of spiritually mature people who ignore criticism and arguments, being wise to Satan's tactics of breeding disunity to stop the anointing.
The Rock I See owns many campuses—debt free—land which the Lord our God has given us. Its beautiful landscapes, architecturally pleasing designs, and detailed maintenance reflect the glory and excellence of our God.
The Rock I See has no lack because of God’s abundant provision. It is a tithing church full of faithful stewards, who walk in the blessing of Abraham.
The Rock I See is made up of regular, down-to-earth people who have such a desire for a move of God that they are willing to do any job, pay any price, and even forfeit personal ambitions to advance God’s Kingdom on the earth.
The Rock I See cannot be stopped because God is the driving force. It is so beyond human ability, ingenuity, or planning that God gets all the glory.
This is The Rock God Sees. I can only see it in my heart now, but I will follow God and obey His voice until everyone can see – The Rock I See.
